SOME NOTES ON PELITA MALAYA

Abstract

It has been shown in this article that although having appeared or a short span of a few months, Pelita Malaya made significant contribution towards popularizing the Malaya Nationalist Party (MNP) and its radical views in the 1940s. The author has concluded that the daily  is a valuable source for the study of post-World War 2 political developments and nationalism in Malaya.
