Abstract

The theoretical part of this research aims to shed light on the status of morals in the Holy Qur’an, and then investigate the morals that are commanded and forbidden in Surat Al-Fath in its practical aspect. The research consists of an introduction that includes the importance of the topic, reasons for choosing it, research plan, and methodology. Furthermore, the study included two chapters: The first chapter handles the definition of morality, its types and its position in Islam, including three topic; Topic one: The definition of ethics, Topic two: the types of morals and Topic three is The status of morals in Islam. Chapter Two: the Morals in a Surat Al-Fath and it includes three topic: Topic one: morals that are commanded, Topic two: The forbidden morals, Topic three: The relevance of these morals to the Meccan era. The most important findings of the research: The Holy Qur’an in this surah focused, with regard to the morals that are forbidden, on warning against the attributes of the hypocrites, and that with regard to the attributes that are commanded, it focused on what the believers need to reach the position of empowerment on earth whose condition is moral perfection.
