Abstract
This research handles the role of the media in defending the Holy Quran. The importance of this research lies in reaching the aim of defending the holy Quran which is refuting and criticizing suspicions, as well as the necessity of using the media in defending the holy Quran. The research aims to identify what is the Holy Quran Defending, as well as its means, importance and controls. Furthermore, it aims to identify the role of the media in defending the Holy Quran. The researcher used the deductive method, as well as the analytical method. The study concluded a number of results, the most important of which are: Defending the Noble Qur’an is a science that investigates the suspicions raised about the Qur’an and responds to them with the supporting argument with the correct evidence. It is an authentic Quranic approach that Muslims have used in the past and present. The media has contributed in defending the Holy Quran and serving it in traditional educational and pedagogical roles, lacked the methodological plans for the topics of defending the holy Quran. The researcher recommended Islamic universities to allocate a department in the colleges of the Holy Qur’an that specializes in everything related to appeals and suspicions and responding to them. He also recommended the formation of a committee called the Commission for the Holy Qur'an Defending.
