Abstract

Taranum teaching in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) requires a systematic pedagogical approach to effectively balance theoretical instruction and practical training. Current taranum teaching practices generally rely on the individual experience and expertise of lecturers, resulting in variations in teaching strategies, approaches, methods, and techniques. Therefore, this study aims to develop a foundational pedagogical framework for taranum teaching in HEIs based on expert consensus. The study employed a quantitative research design using the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM). Data analysis through the Fuzzy Delphi Method emphasized two key procedures to ensure data accuracy, namely the Triangular Fuzzy Number process and the Defuzzification process. These validation procedures were conducted to obtain expert consensus on the proposed items. The findings indicate that both the pedagogical elements and their respective contents achieved expert consensus, resulting in four principal components comprising teaching strategies, approaches, methods, and techniques for taranum instruction. This study contributes a specialized pedagogical framework that integrates the principles of Quranic education, instructional theory, and expertise in the field of taranum. The proposed framework has the potential to serve as an alternative reference for strengthening the quality of taranum teaching, supporting the development of instructional modules, and enhancing the taranum curriculum in the future.
